Ceviche American dish


Here’s a simple ceviche recipe:
Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh white fish, such as halibut, cod, or sea bass
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 avocado, pitted, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
    Instructions:
  • Cut the fish into small cubes.
  • Place the fish in a bowl and pour the lime juice over it.
  • Let the fish marinate in the lime juice for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the fish is cooked through.
  • Drain the fish and discard the marinade.
  • Stir in the red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper (if using), avocado, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve immediately with chips or tortillas.
