Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs


Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Marinara sauce, for serving Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate or similar baking dish.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate into 8 biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle.
  3. Place 4-5 mozzarella cheese cubes in the center of each biscuit. Wrap the dough up and around the cheese, pinching to seal tightly.
  4. Place the stuffed biscuit balls seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  6. Brush or spoon the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the stuffed biscuits.
  7. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve the gooey biscuit bombs warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
