Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of French bread, cut into slices
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic. Spread this mixture onto the slices of French bread.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine the sour cream, prepared horseradish, Dijon mustard, and chopped chives. Mix well.
- Serve the steak bites on top of the garlic bread slices and drizzle with the horseradish cream sauce.
