Lemon Custard Cheesecake Crescent Rolls


Ingredients:

1 can crescent roll dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup lemon curd
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp granulated sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions:

Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Spread a thin layer of lemon curd on each triangle. Add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and spread evenly.
Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end to the narrow point.
Bake:
Place rolls on a lined baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve:
Serve warm, optionally with a drizzle of lemon glaze.
