- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas

- 2 lbs (900g) potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk (or more as needed)
