Slow Cooker Cheese Stuffed Meatballs

Ingredients:

500g beef mince
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup freshly chopped parsley
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
2 x 500g jars of pasta sauce

Directions:

Prepare the Meatball Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mince, garlic powder, fresh breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, milk, and eggs.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Form the Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs:
Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in the palm of your hand.
Place a small cube of cheese (choose a cheese that melts well, like mozzarella or cheddar) in the center.
Encase the cheese with the meat, rolling it into a ball. Ensure the cheese is fully enclosed to prevent it from leaking out during cooking.
Prepare the Slow Cooker:
Pour one jar of pasta sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the Meatballs:
Place the formed meatballs on top of the sauce in the slow cooker, making sure they are not touching each other.
Cook the Meatballs:
Pour the second jar of pasta sauce over the meatballs, covering them completely.
Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours.
Serving:
Once the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese inside is melted, they’re ready to serve.
Serve the meatballs with spaghetti, a side of garlic bread, or enjoy them on their own.
