Ingredients:
- Whipped cream
- 3 to 4 large eggs
- Red velvet cake crumbs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 to 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Fresh strawberries
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree.
- Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Heat your oven to 325°F and grease a springform pan. (9inch )
- Prepare the Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let it cool.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, and vanilla extract, mixing well. Incorporate the eggs one at a time. Stir in the strawberry puree and red food coloring until fully blended/ mixed. .
- Assemble: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust, ensuring it spreads evenly.
- Bake: Place the cheesecake in the oven and bake for 50-70 minutes, or until it’s set. Once done, turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool inside for 45 m to 1 hour.
- Chill: After cooling, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours to set completely.
- Decorate and Serve: Before serving, top the cheesecake with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and a sprinkle of red velvet cake crumbs.
