These elegant baked lobster tails are basted in a rich garlic herb butter sauce and baked to perfection. They’re easy to make and perfect for a special occasion or fancy dinner!
Ingredients:
4 lobster tails
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped (optional)
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut through the top shell of each lobster tail, starting at the top and cutting down to the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the fin end. This will help with even cooking and presentation.
Season the lobster meat with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Make the Garlic Herb Butter Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme (if using), and lemon juice. Stir well.
Brush and Bake the Lobster:
Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Generously brush the garlic herb butter sauce over the lobster meat.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Brush with more garlic butter halfway through baking for extra flavor.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for an extra zest of flavor.
Helpful Tips:
Avoid Overcooking: Keep an eye on the lobster tails as they bake; they cook quickly and should be just opaque and tender.
Extra Flavor: Drizzle any remaining garlic herb butter over the lobster tails after cooking for added richness.
These baked lobster tails with garlic herb butter sauce are rich, buttery, and perfect for a luxurious dining experience at home!
