AIR FRYER BACON WRAPPED CREAM CHEESE STUFFED CHICKEN BREAST


INGREDIENTS:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons cream cheese
1/4 cup shredded Pepperjack cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
4 to 8 slices of bacon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare Chicken:Cut each chicken breast into 2 equal-sized pieces.
Pound each piece to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Prepare Filling:In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, shredded Pepperjack cheese, and chopped green onion.
Stuff Chicken:Spoon 1/4 of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each chicken piece.
Roll up the chicken breast tightly around the filling, keeping the cheese mixture inside.
Wrap with Bacon:Wrap 1 to 2 slices of bacon around each rolled chicken breast piece. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
Air Fry:Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air Fry:Air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
Broil (Optional):If desired, broil the topside of the chicken for about 3-5 minutes to further crisp up the bacon.
Serve:Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks before serving.
